J.A. Jensen is a member of the Mystery Writers of America (MWA) and the Horror Writers Association (HWA). His short story, “Kenneth is Drowning” is available in the anthology, “California Screamin”. His short story, “The Case of the Talking Board” appears in the new anthology, “Sherlock Holmes and the Occult Detectives”. His short story, “The Bus Ride” appears in the San Diego Decameron Project.

He is currently working on a novel about a 4’4” private detective that lives on a boat with pet a caiman in Florida.

He lives in book-clogged apartment in San Diego with a patient wife, and a Chigi (Chihuhua/Corgi) rescue named, Jeeves.
